Look Beauty Haul: July 2013

Yesterday I blogged about my ELF haul and the same thing happened with Look Beauty. I'd never purchased anything from their range before and I'd always been super tempted so when I found out there was a 50% off sale plus 3 free lip products I had to indulge. Hmm I'm always indulging! Oops!

Again, I thought I'd show you the products I got in case you are interested in taking up the offer while it's still on then I will review the products in the future once I've tried them. The deal is 50% off all products on https://www.lookbeauty.co.uk/ and instead of the 3 lip products I got for free, they are now offering a trio of holiday essentials.

I've loved cream blush ever since trying some from Topshop's makeup range. These Fresh Cheeks cream blushes have been something I've had my eye on for a while from Look Beauty so they were a necessary purchase! I bought 2 of the 3 shades - Melon and Guava (blushes photographed in this order). They are both quite peachy shades, Melon being a more coral shade and Guava being a bit more nude. I'm looking forward to trying these and when I flipped them over I noticed there is a mirror on the bottom of the packaging so that's pretty good.

An unexpected purchase from the sale was the Mini Makeover Palette in Pretty Green Eyes. There are 4 varieties available catering for different eye colours and each contains 8 eyeshadows, 4 lip colours and 1 blush. It's quite a good deal and the quality looks decent so I'm glad I added this to my basket. It's really small and would easily fit in a clutch bag on a night out if you like to top up your makeup while you're out.

I love a good nail polish so I ordered a Nail Pop to see what the quality is like as I've seen quite a few shades I like. This time I went for Juice which is a great shade for the Summer.

The rest of my order is all lip products, as if I don't already own enough of those! Anyway... I went for a range of different formulas and shades so I can really test the brand out and see what I think. I love the hot pink colour of the Double Hit Lip in Pink Punch. The lipstick end is supposed to be matte and there is a gloss end too so you can wear either on their own or combine them for an even more intense look.

I liked the colour of this shimmery peach Lip Slick in Fruit Punch so that was straight in the basket. I can see this being quite a sheer gloss that will be great for daytime wear in the Summer. (Hope so anyway!)

I had to buy a Fat Lips Lip Balm & Stain to continue my crayon style product trend of late! I chose the shade Snog, a light shimmery red. I don't think I've seen any colours like this in lip crayons from other brands.

I liked the cute little pot and peachy colour of the Pout Butter and I thought it would come in handy for hydrating my lips a little before wearing all of these lip products.

I really love the packaging of the Loud Lips lipsticks. The pattern is a really nice touch and makes it look quite classy. The lid is magnetic so it's easy to drop the lid back on after use!

The free lip products I got with my order are these Pout Stains in the shades Scarlet Smooch, Rose Smacker and Pucker up Peach. They have felt tip pen style applicators and I really like all of the colours so I'm looking forward to trying them. I think they were a really good freebie.

My initial impressions of Look Beauty are very good. I think the packaging is really fun and cute. I like the way it's quite colourful and modern. The products look great quality too so fingers crossed I like everything I bought.

Please let me know if there are any products in particular you would like to see a review of on my blog and I'll get that done for you.

What do you think of my haul?
Have you tried any of these products?

  4. Best deals, beauty business from social marketplace is not new to those who have a skill of nail care, or any cosmetic skills. Although this type of business is difficult but there are still many people want to try building beauty business specifically to those who want to have extra income.
